from one non-believer to another

welcome to another one of those days where i skipped school because i wanted to study.
not really. i just wanted to sleep, sleep and sleep some more. (blame it on the weather) but i'm proud to say that, unlike last time, i actually DID study. chemical bonding, refraction of light and spectrum. :D
anyway, to the point:

while randomly Googling things, i came across this:
"If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed."
quoted by Albert Einstein, the guy with the coolest religious outlook ever.
i'm a non-believer. i'll admit the idea of having someone watching over us all the time is nice but i don't believe in "God". i'm okay with people believing in "One Supreme Power" but i'm against the ideas of religion and polytheism. also, i do not like this "God" guy. He (forgive me, readers) seems like just another Voldemort (once again, no offense). i'll leave my God and Voldemort Are On The Same Page Theory for another day though, i'm kinda short on time right now. but i'll leave you with some more from The Einstein:
this one took me a while to get to the bottom of lol. it's amazing!
"I cannot conceive of a God who rewards or punishes his creatures, or has a will of the type of which we are in conscious in ourselves. An individual who should survive his physical death is also beyond my comprehension, nor do I wish it otherwise; such notions are for the fears or absurd egoism of feeble souls. Enough for me the mystery of the eternity of life, and the inkling of the marvelous structure of reality, together with the single-hearted endeavour to comprehend a portion, be it ever so tiny, of the reason that manifests itself in nature."

and this one's my favourite, i don't know why:
"What I see in nature is a magnificent structure that we can comprehend only very imperfectly, and that must fill a thinking person with humility."

that man had one hell of a brilliant mind.
